2. Scope and acceptance
These terms govern purchases made on vandium.co from the date they come into force. They are completed by the Shipping, exchanges and returns policy and the Personal data policy, which are part of them.
Before you hold an order, the store shows you a summary and the terms of your purchase, with the real amounts, deadlines and dates. You accept them by ticking "I accept the purchase terms". If the quote changes (town, colour, pieces or a store setting), the box is unticked and you must accept again.
We store the version of these terms you accepted, the date and the refund conditions that applied then. Those govern your order even if we later change this document.
To buy you must be of legal age and able to enter into contracts, or have your legal representative's authorisation.
Acceptance by electronic means, the code sent to your email and the data messages we exchange are fully valid (Colombian Law 527 of 1999).
3. The pieces
VANDIUM sells T-shirts with original art, in two lines:
Deluxe: limited-edition pieces. Each plate is issued in a fixed number of copies (7 in Genesis), each in a different colour family. Each copy gets an edition number, a serial and a certificate with registration (see section 10).
Core: pieces made to order, in the shirts, sizes and colours each product page offers.
Each product page states the base shirt, its fabric and weight, the cut, sizes, available colours and price. Size chart measurements may vary by 1 to 3 cm because of manual manufacturing.
Colours in photos and on-screen previews are approximate: the screen, the light and the fabric batch change the real tone. Published art is a reduced, watermarked copy; the physical piece carries no watermark.
Availability: the product page shows live whether a Deluxe colour is free, on hold or sold. Adding to the cart does not hold the piece: it is held only when you confirm with "Hold and pay".
Offers are valid while the product is on sale and available. Each collection may open in movements on dates published on the site.
4. Price
Prices are in Colombian pesos (COP). VAT: Information being updated.
Shipping is calculated from your town and shown separately before you confirm. The total is the pieces' subtotal plus shipping.
If two prices appear by mistake for the same piece, you pay the lower one.
An order keeps the price, shipping and terms it was held with, even if they later change in the store.
5. How to buy
Sign in with your email: we send a 6-digit code that expires in 15 minutes. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to check you are a person.
Order details: WhatsApp mobile (required), town and, when needed, the full address, name and ID number (cédula) of the recipient. If your WhatsApp number is not Colombian, we also ask for a Colombian mobile for the delivery.
Hold: when you confirm, the piece is held for you during the period shown on screen and in the email.
Pay and upload the receipt: you pay by Bre-B transfer to the key and holder we show, writing the order reference in the description, and upload the receipt (photo or PDF up to 8 MB) on the tracking page, with the holder and the key or account you paid from.
Review: we review each payment by hand, within 2 hours between 8:00 and 22:00 (Colombia time). When we approve it, we email you.
You will receive by email the hold confirmation, with the reference, pieces, total, payment details and tracking link, and then an email at each status change.
6. Payment deadlines
6.1 Regular purchase
Applies to the whole Core line and to Deluxe bought from the public opening.
You pay 100% of the order.
You have the period shown on screen and in the email (currently 1 hour) to pay and upload the receipt. If it expires without a receipt, the order is cancelled and the pieces become free for other customers. Nothing is charged.
6.2 Pre-sale (Deluxe only, during early access)
During the 24 hours of early access of each movement, those with access can hold that movement's Deluxe pieces in pre-sale. Core is always paid in full.
You can pay everything at once (recommended) or pay a 50% deposit of the whole order, shipping included. You have the period shown (currently 12 hours) for the first payment.
The balance can be paid as soon as we approve the deposit and no later than 10:00 (Colombia time) on the day after the movement's public opening, or 12 hours after the deposit is approved if that is later. The exact date is in the terms you accept and on your tracking page.
Pre-sale secures the colour, not the edition number (see section 9).
If you do not pay the balance in time, we release the piece and refund what you paid to the source account, within the period stated in your terms (currently 3 business days). If your terms said so when you held the order, we deduct Colombia's financial transactions tax (4x1000) from that transfer; the exact amount is shown before you accept.
6.3 Order with pre-sale Deluxe and Core
If during early access you hold pre-sale Deluxe and Core in the same cart, two linked orders are created and shipped together, with a single shipping fee charged on the pre-sale order. Each has its own deadline and receipt, and if one falls through the other goes on. If the pre-sale falls through because you did not pay the balance (or you cancel it) while the regular order goes on, the regular order's shipping is deducted from the pre-sale refund. If the regular order is not yet paid, it then carries its own shipping and we tell you the new total.
6.4 Receipts with problems
Different amount: if we receive less than requested, we approve it as a part payment and ask for the difference within 2 hours; if we receive more, we refund the excess.
Rejection: if the receipt does not match a deposit we see in the bank, we reject it with the reason and you have 2 hours to upload another. If you have paid nothing and two receipts for the same payment are rejected, the order is cancelled.
Late payment: if you paid within 24 hours after the deadline and the piece is still free, we recover your order; if someone else took it, you pick another free colour or we refund 100% of that payment.
What counts is the time we receive the receipt, even if we review it later.
6.5 Limits per person
So the edition reaches more people: one Deluxe per person per movement and one per plate; up to 10 Core per order; one unpaid hold at a time. Anyone who lets two holds of the same plate expire cannot hold it again for 3 hours. We may reject orders that show the use of multiple emails to hoard pieces.
7. Changes before dispatch
Until the order is paid in full, you can change the address from your tracking page (signing in with your email). If the new address is in another shipping zone, we recalculate shipping and the total.
Between the deposit and the balance of a pre-sale, you can ask us on WhatsApp to change size or colour, if the new colour is free.
After full payment, address changes are made only through our support.
8. Cancellations and refunds
If VANDIUM cancels (for example, because we cannot produce the piece), we refund 100% of what you paid, with no deductions.
If you cancel before the order is paid in full (message us on WhatsApp or at the PQR email): if you have paid nothing, the order is cancelled at no cost; if you have paid something, we refund it under the same rule as an unpaid balance (section 6.2.5). Once paid in full, the order goes into production and can no longer be cancelled this way; your right of withdrawal and the warranty remain (sections 11 and 12).
Every refund goes to the account or key the payment came from, as we see it in the bank. We only refund to another account if the holder of the source account asks in writing. We email you when it is done.
The 4x1000 is never deducted on a withdrawal, a warranty claim, when VANDIUM cancels or when VANDIUM misses the delivery deadline.
9. Edition number (Deluxe)
Each Deluxe copy's number ("No. 3 of 7") is assigned when the order is paid in full, from the lowest free number up. A colour on hold or in pre-sale has no number yet.
Numbers are not reused, unless a piece is voided and the house decides to reopen that number.
10. The Scribes' Register (Deluxe)
Each paid Deluxe carries a public serial (on its NFC tag and certificate) and a secret code printed on the certificate card.
Signing is voluntary and free: at https://vandium.co/en/register/ you enter the card's code, the name you want in the canon and your email, which you confirm with a 6-digit code. The email is never published. Your name is shown publicly only if you tick the box to show it, and in short form ("Ana R.").
Handing on: if you sell or give away the piece, you confirm your email and receive a transfer code valid for 7 days for the new owner. The old card stops working. When the new owner signs, you move to the piece's lineage, which is public (with your short name only if you chose to show it).
Anyone can look up a serial to check that the piece is original.
If you lose access to your email, write to us: the house can release the registration after checking you have the piece.
Returned piece: if a Deluxe is returned with a refund, through withdrawal (section 11) or the warranty (section 12), the house removes it from the Scribes' Register when it approves the return: its serial, certificate and registration (with its lineage) stop being valid, the card and the NFC tag no longer work to sign or to check it, and its number may be offered again.
The register and certificate are a service of authenticity and memory of the piece. They are not a title of ownership or a financial asset, and give no rights over the art.
11. Right of withdrawal
As you buy at a distance, you have a right of withdrawal (article 47 of Colombian Law 1480 of 2011): you can undo the purchase without giving reasons within 5 business days after delivery.
To use it, write to the PQR email or on WhatsApp with your order reference within that period. We reply with a filing number and the return address.
You return the piece in the same condition you received it (unworn, unwashed, with its packaging and certificate), by the same shipping means. Return shipping is at your cost.
We refund 100% of what you paid, with no deductions (not even the 4x1000 tax), to the source account, within 30 calendar days from the day you withdraw.
A Deluxe returned through withdrawal leaves the Scribes' Register (section 10.6); the house may offer that colour and number again.
It does not apply to pieces made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example, with your name or initials), when the store offers them.
12. Warranty
Every piece carries a warranty of quality, fitness and good condition (Law 1480 of 2011, article 7). Its term is announced by the seller under article 8 of that law: 15 calendar days from delivery.
It covers manufacturing defects in the garment or the print: open seams, fabric faults, a print that peels or cracks with the indicated use and washing, a piece different from the one ordered.
It does not cover normal wear, misuse, or washing or care outside the care instructions, which we publish with each piece: those in the Shipping, exchanges and returns policy, section 11. Nor the tone differences described in section 3.3.
If the claim is accepted: we repair the piece first. If it cannot be repaired, a Core is replaced with an identical one; a Deluxe, which has no identical twin, is settled by refunding what you paid for it, and it leaves the Scribes' Register (section 10.6).
The procedure and deadlines are in the Shipping, exchanges and returns policy. Shipping for an accepted warranty claim is paid by VANDIUM.
13. Payment reversal
If the payment was fraudulent, you did not make the transaction, you did not receive the product, or the product does not match your order or is defective, you can ask for a payment reversal (article 51 of Law 1480 of 2011): within 5 business days of learning of the cause, file the complaint with us, return the product if applicable and notify your bank. Since a Bre-B payment is a transfer you make from your bank, if the cause exists we refund you directly to the source account, without waiting for the bank's process.
14. Shipping and delivery
Shipping, rates, delivery times and what to do if the piece arrives damaged are in the Shipping, exchanges and returns policy. In short: production takes at most 5 business days from full payment; delivery depends on the carrier and its time is added to production's, and we do not guarantee it. If we do not dispatch within the production period, or the piece does not reach you within 30 calendar days of full payment (article 50 of Law 1480 of 2011), you can terminate the contract and we refund everything you paid, with no deductions.
15. Intellectual property
The VANDIUM brand, the logo, the plates' art, the universe texts, the photographs and the site's software belong to VANDIUM or their authors. Buying a piece makes you the owner of that garment, not of rights over the art. You may not reproduce, copy or sell the art, images or texts without written permission.
16. Use of the site
You may not use the site for unlawful purposes, try to breach its security, automate purchases (bots) or use multiple emails or identities to get around the per-person limits.
If we detect abuse, we may reject or cancel the affected orders with a full refund of what was paid, without prejudice to your consumer rights.
We may pause the store for maintenance or force majeure. Orders already held keep their terms.
17. Liability
VANDIUM is liable for the quality, fitness and safety of its pieces as the law provides. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure, acts of third parties or the customer's fault (for example, a wrong address). Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
18. Requests, complaints and claims
You can file any PQR at [email protected] or on WhatsApp (+57 310 447 7054). We reply with a filing number, date and time, and you can check its status with that number.
We reply within 15 business days.
If you are not satisfied, you can go to the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (https://www.sic.gov.co).
19. Personal data
We process your data under the Personal data policy published on the site.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version is published with its date and applies only to orders held after that date. Your order is governed by the version you accepted.
21. Governing law
These terms are governed by Colombian law, in particular Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute), Law 527 of 1999 and Law 1581 of 2012. Disputes are settled before the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio or the competent courts of Colombia, without prejudice to the actions the law gives the consumer at their domicile.
